If you want to see me well you're out of luck I ain't going passed my front door So don't bother knocking or ringing the bell There ain't no-one I will answer for I've got a nose that's running like Niagara Falls I've got a red hot fever like you wouldn't beleive I've got a show tonight but I can't leave home Because I'm stuck right here in my own Self-Quarantine Well I had a job down by the local but There ain't no use for me there now And I used to love taking a sick day or two And now I'm scrambling for pennies inside the couch I see my wealth going down the toilet And now I know for sure that money really grows on trees Because this roll of paper's worth its weight in gold When we're all stuck right here in our own Self-Quarantines

If I'm a sinking ship then you're the ocean floor If you're a squeaky toy then I'm a dog If I'm a hot air balloon then you're the sky above the clouds If you're a businessman's neck I'm a tie If I'm a can of worms then you're a jar of dirt If you're a racing car then I'm a stripe If I'm a cube of ice then you're a drink on a hot day If you're a secret safehouse I'm a spy 'cos I I wanna be with you

Bugs get in your bed and salty water fills your eyes Coins fall out your tiny pockets Friends get left behind Bikes are thrown in lakes at night and cars get towed away A sadness that you cant articulate But don't forget the gifts that put that price on your receipt Don't forget the walks that left those blisters on your feet The things you do, the words you say, the people that you meet Are colours in a dream of folding clothes Underneath the sky there's people sleeping in the park Sunlight burns their skin then leaves them freezing in the dark Years get shorter every time but nights go on and on Words can't find a place inside your song But don't forget the smiles that left those wrinkles on your face Don't forget the meals that put that pressure round your waist All we are and and we know and all that we create Are colours in a dream of folding clothes
